nur soviel: mit fancy dress reduziert sich der eintritt von drei auf zwei pfund! und so ein panama-partyhut ist schnell ausgedruckt...

maybe just that a fancy dress reduces the entrance fee from three to two pounds! and a panama party hat like the one i am showing on this photo is printed quite quickly...

place to be

ich hab mal auf die schnelle fuer all jene, die sich fragen, wo ich mich eigentlich genau rumtreibe, das kleine schaubild zusammengebastelt..
im moment pendle ich eigentlich taeglich zwischen meiner wohnung und dem college hin und her. ich denk es sind so ca. zwei bis drei kilometer. normalerweise in einer guten halben stunde zu schaffen. in kuerze werd ich allerdings stolzer besitzer eines drahtesels sein, und dann hoff ich auf eine zeit unter zehn minuten!

thats just a quick picture i prepared for those of you who were asking themselfes where exactly i spend most of my time. ..
at the moment i perform a daily routine from the flat to the college and vice versa. i think the distance should be around 2-3 kilometers and one way takes me roughly half an hour. but in short i will be a proud owner of a bike and so i hope to bring that time down to ten minutes!

in den usa bedarf es einer verfassungsaenderung, bevor der oesterreicher praesident werden kann. aber am royal college of art nimmt man das eher locker. darum kann ich mich jetzt president nennen. president der first year vehicle design students. mein vizepresident ist daniel sjöholm aus schweden.
alles in allem wahrscheinlich nicht gerade die demokratischste wahl der welt, aber ich denke da gibt es noch ganz andere praesidenten, die auch damit leben muessen…
egal – ich bin praesident!

it needs a change in the constitution before an austrian can become the president in the states. but hey are not as strict at the royal college of art. this is why you can call me mr. president from now on. president of the first year vehicle design students.
my vice president is daniel sjöholm from sweden.
it was probably not the most democratic election on the globe, but I know that there are some more presidents around that have to admit the same…
anyway – i am the president!

ja, ja - versprochen ist versprochen, ich weiss...
mittlerweile gibts auch schon das eine oder andere g'schichtl
zu erzaehlen. ich weiss schlicht und einfach nicht was ich zuerst
schreiben soll. da waere zum beispiel die ganze sache rund um
die herbergsuche und meine neue wohnung oder generell die
ersten eindruecke seit meiner ankunft auf der insel. nicht zu
vergessen die ersten tage am rca...
ich hoffe die naechsten abende darauf verwenden zu koennen
einige postings zu produzieren!

well - what can i say? i know it was a promise, so i'll better
stick to it. the problem is just that there are already too many
things to post and i just don't know what to write first. there is
for example the whole story about the flat hunt, my first days in
london and the things that happened at the rca in these exciting
first days - just to name a few!
i just hope to find the time during the next evenings for some
postings!

heute startet mein studium am rca! fuer die vehicle design students ist 15:30 die stunde null. einschreiben am college, email-adresse usw. einen detailierteren bericht ueber die ersten tage folgt in kuerze. versprochen!

i am starting my postgraduate studies at the rca today! it all starts at 15:30 for the vehicle design students. thats the time when we have to be at the college to register. i'll bring an update on the happenings of the first days quite soon. thats a promise!
